Neighborhood Associates Makers Extreme STEAM Summer Camp 2021  (Washington, DC, USA)
 
We welcome K-8 DC students living in Marshall Heights, Carver-Langston, and Kenilworth-Parkside. The 5-week virtual summer camp blends art, socio-emotional skills, reading, critical thinking, and team-building through interactive projects and in-person field trips. Camp fee is $50 per week. "Sasha Bruce Youthwork will be conducting programming at the Richardson Youth Center. We will be focusing in particular on Promoting Adolescent Sexual Health and Safety, also known as PASS, and using the corresponding curriculum. The PASS curriculum aims to reduce teen pregnancy and associated outcomes. Youth will participate in 10 psycho-educational groups and activities focused on life skills, sexual health, wellness, decision making and healthy coping skills. They will also receive individualized support as needed throughout programming. "
