CFE is a stand-alone after-school academic, life-skills, and tennis instruction program serving a minimum of 100 low-income students living in high crime areas of Washington DC. CFE operates throughout the school calendar year serving participants in grades 1-12. Participants receive 90 minutes of homework help, individualized math and reading instruction, and mentoring, as well as 90 minutes of tennis play and physical education every day.
